Time to Get Back to Painting

The weather has turned from dry to wet, so that watercolor box is looking more and more inviting.  Now, just to find the time to do it!  Actually, I don't know how I've had time to write this little note to myself.  I will share a past painting for inspiration.
So this painting isn't mine, but it is my daughter's painting. She was probably a fifth grader when she took my "Under the Water Watercolors" class where we explored sea life as well as principals and application of watercolor painting.  She never really finished this painting.  Since it is a squid that lives in deep waters, she was going to use ink and paint the background black, as well as adding a few more details to the tentacles.  It stands out as a charming picture in its incomplete state however.
Well, back to real life.
Until next time!

  1. Well, this is an irritating mistake. This post was supposed to go on my other blog, the one concerning painting and artwork. I will leave the problem unresolved until later however.

  2. The name of the painting blog is, "The Sower Went Out to Sow"
